Results - Region 3 Championship

The Region 3 Championship Regatta was held the weekend of May 18 and 19 in Nashville on Percy Priest Lake. Nine boats participated with Justin Chambers winning the bragging rights. 

Sam Beckman reported that "one race on Saturday was a drifter. Two races on Sunday not much better. Everyone had a good time in the Music City"

At the General Membership Meeting scheduled for the evening of Sunday, June 9 at the North Star Sail Club in Harrison Township, Michigan (Lake St. Clair), members of the Catalina 22 National Sailing Association will have the opportunity to cast their vote to elect (or re-elect) their peers to the Governing Board. The members seeking to serve include:

Apostle Islands Cruise 2024 is a Go!

Who doesn’t love an early spring! That means more time for sailing.

Join us this year for the Apostle Islands Cruise August 12 to 17, 2024. It will be an adventure like no other. Often referred to as the “Caribbean of the North” this lake is unsalted and shark free! Well, that is if you don’t include my boat "Lake Shark". We will launch from Bayfield, Wisconsin for a weeklong adventure filled with lighthouses, amazing sunsets, and pristine beaches.

JRSC Cattail Regatta, June 1 & 2

Update 2/27/24 - the event is now a two-day regatta and the NoR has been updated accordingly. 

The Jolly Roger Sailing Club of Toledo, Ohio (Western Lake Erie) is pleased to invite Catalina 22 sailors to the Cattail Regatta on June 1 and 2. The Catalina 22 Class will also be competing for the Bruce Sondys Memorial Trophy. 

Catalina 22 sailors who are also planning to attend this year's Catalina 22 National Championship Regatta on Lake St. Clair, Michigan, may also keep their boats at JRSC to pick-up when passing back through Toledo on their way to the Nationals in Michigan.
